Overall DescriptionResponsible for the development and support of RMS (Remote Management Services) agent platform and agent.Major Accountabilities1. Understand key performance indicator of each Carestream product, develop RMS generic agent for all products, and optimize the RMS agent to provide better data capturing mechanism and less performance impact.2. Develop product agent basing on Axeda platform (Axeda Builder configuration, perl&VB scripts, InstallShield)3. Develop Questra agent optimization and migration package to migrate legacy agent to new Axeda platform.4. Identify and abstract common remote management features, enrich RMS agent functionalities basing on new platform SDK.5. Provide support for product development team and service team on RMS agent issues.6. Participate SecureLink project development.7. Participate RMS testing.8. Follow the agile style for daily work. RequirementsEducation, Professional experienceB.S in Computer Science / Information Technology / related computer field or above.· Technical knowledgeAt least 1 years’ working experience on C++ software development.Personal characteristicsExperience with C++ development in Windows Platform and STL is a MUSTExperience with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment is a MUST.Knowledge on General IT infrastructure (Windows Server OS, Network, Firewall, Database, SQL) is a big plusExperience with multi-threading and socket programming is a big plus.Knowledge on design pattern and XML encode/decode is a big plus.Familiar with Unix/Linux system environment and experience on C++ development in Unix/Linux is a big plus.Familiar with InstallShield development is a big plus.Experience on shell/Perl/VB Script programming is a plus;Experience on B/S development (ASP.NET or J2EE) is a plus.High ownership, self-driven, willing to change and take challenge.LanguagesGood at oral and written English.
